Apply for a 2026 Boat Storage Permit Here: Online Moorings

2026 Boat Storage Permit applications will become available beginning on Sunday, March 1st. There are no paper applications. It must be submitted electronically via Online Moorings. Please note: Locations are available on a first come, first served basis. If you do not see your preferred location in the location selection box, there is no room for your vessel at that location. 

Once reviewed and approved, your Boat Storage Permit Sticker will be available for pick up at the Town Clerk's Office or sent via USPS mail.

Overview

The Town Clerk's Office is considered the center of town government. The Town Clerk's Power and Duties are mandated by federal, state, and local law.

It is the Official Filing Office for the Town and maintains all official and vital records of the Town government and public activities as the Records Management Officer.

The Town Clerk's Office is responsible for keeping a complete and accurate record of all Town Board proceedings, actions, and resolutions and serves the public with access to Town records including the assurance that residents have convenient access to local permits and licenses.

The Town Clerk, elected every four years, is the custodian of all Town chronicles and is responsible for active files, disposition of inactive records, and protection of the archives.
